Student Vote 2026

Dear Kings Park Parents and Guardians,

Eleven years ago I started the practice of holding a Student Vote on the day of the districtwide budget vote.   Since that time, approximately 300+ students in grades K-12 have voted each year.  We will be continuing this practice again this year.  The Student Vote gives us the opportunity to collect insightful information on a variety of topics.  This year we focused on student attendance and mental health.   This process also provides our students with the opportunity to perform their civic duty.

This year’s Student Vote will again be conducted via an online survey tool.  The link is below.  Students are invited to vote at any point between today and 8:30 p.m. May 29, 2026.  Students may vote either at home or in-person in the Library Media Center at Kings Park High School on May 19th.  The Student Vote Questions are attached.
