Dear Parents and Guardians,

I want to draw your attention to a pair of new laws that went into effect earlier this year regarding e-bikes.  In case you missed it in Newsday today, please read the attached article.   Again, these new laws went into effect earlier this year, and fines can range from $500 for a first violation to $5,000 for a third violation within a 5-year period.
