Kings Park - All Dug Out!
January 26, 2026
Good afternoon Kings Park Community,
I just finished a drive through the Kings Park area. The Town of Smithtown and our Buildings and Grounds Crews did an outstanding job clearing the snow. As I was passing the small hill on 25A by the entrance to Nissequogue State Park, I could see that many Kings Parkers enjoyed the traditional snow day! Because we did not have school today, Friday, May 22nd will now be a school day. Please make a note of this change on your family calendar. Hopefully this will be the one big snow event this winter. Additional weather-related events would necessitate eLearning days. While not ideal, this would allow us to maintain the spring recess.
While the roads are clear, they may be a little slick in the morning. Please take it slow and allow a few extra minutes to get where you need to be in the morning.
Be safe, and have a great evening!
